Pocket + Vault

Pocket for every day. Vault for what matters.

Create Pocket with a passkey for daily sends and apps. Add a 2-of-3 Vault when you want two approvals and a recovery path.

Vault security

Three approval methods. Two required.

Vault combines your passkey, phone approval, and recovery phrase. Supported actions require any two; no single method can control Vault.

If one method is lost, the other two can replace it.

2/3

Two methods must agree. Cedar cannot approve for you.

Agent Wallet

Give an agent its own wallet—not your keys.

Coming next.

Planned modes: a 1-of-1 wallet that acts within limits, or a 2-of-2 wallet that also needs your passkey. Vault remains the recovery layer.

1 of 1

Acts within limits

The agent signs on its own, inside the rules you set.

2 of 2

Needs your passkey

The agent and you both approve every action.

Separate wallet. Separate keys.

Vault can pause, revoke, or recover Agent Wallet. It cannot undo activity already completed.

FAQ

Before you start.

How are Pocket and Vault related?

They are separate wallets under one Cedar account. Pocket handles daily activity; Vault adds different approval and recovery rules.

Can the recovery phrase recover Cedar by itself?

No. Lost-passkey recovery requires a protected Pocket, plus your current approval phone and recovery phrase. If two Vault methods are unavailable, recovery cannot continue.

When do I use the recovery phrase?

Only for supported recovery and backup paths. Normal Vault actions use your passkey and phone approval. Keep the phrase private and offline.

Does Agent Wallet use my Pocket or Vault keys?

No. The planned Agent Wallet has separate keys and funds. Vault will be able to pause, revoke, or recover it, but cannot undo completed activity.

Where can I use Cedar today?

Cedar is available as a web app and an unlisted Chrome extension. The phone app is currently available only on iPhone. Cedar is on testnet, so use test tokens only; Android is not available yet.
